Rollins Lake Luxury!
contemporary Off Grid living at it's finest
There are very few private residences on Rollins, which differentiates this lake from most in California. The lake itself is owned and maintained by NID (Nevada Irrigation District). This means that the lake is maintained at no cost to homeowners who are lucky enough to own property and it is kept in pristine condition in order to supply water needs to communities below the Sierras.
It is located at the 2100-foot elevation off Highway 174 between Grass Valley and Colfax. Rollins Lake has a surface area of 900 acres, with 26 miles of shoreline. It’s a marvelous lake for sailing and water-skiing with many coves and long stretches of open water. Fishing is excellent from boat or shore and there is a wide variety of trout and warm water fish species. There are day use parks, campgrounds and beaches that are operated by NID and in some cases by private operators under contract with NID.Type your paragraph here.
